Join Pastor Hoover as he leads a four week ZOOM Bible study focusing on the teachings of Jesus Christ and Howard Thurman in healing and wholeness.  The project thesis question is “how can the teachings of Howard Thurman and Jesus serve as agents of healing and wholeness at Jerusalem-Mt. Pleasant UMC?”.  This truly can be space for wholeness and healing as a result of things that we may have been through related to systemic racism, political unrest, grief and trauma in our lives.

The areas of this study will handle four areas:  Biblical, Theological, Experience and Application.  We will address weekly each of these areas to identify the teachings of Jesus and Howard Thurman and what we can learn from Jesus’ ministries with the disciples and Thurman’s work with others.

Our Bible study dates will take place on Tuesday, November 21st, 28th, December 5th and 12th.
